Daniel Armbruster anchors News 3 weekends and reports for News 3 at Six weekdays. Daniel is also the Weekend Executive Producer.

Daniel brings more than a decade of television news experience to the KBTX news team. Daniel's career started in Waco at KBTX's sister station, KWTX From there Daniel has worked in Dallas at KTVT, and KXII in Sherman and finally to the Brazos Valley.

Daniel grew up just down the road in the small Central Texas town of Lorena, where his family still resides. He graduated from Lorena High School and then from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Communications. He also minored in Political Science.

In his spare time, Daniel enjoys running and working out, and he loves eating bar-b-cue as much as he cares about staying up with the headlines.
