 Jon Boaz is KBTX's general sales manager and assistant station manager.
Jon has been at KBTX since February 1986. He spent 15 years as an anchor, including nearly five years on the desk for Brazos Valley This Morning.
Jon was born and raised in Huntsville, Texas, and began his career in broadcasting at the age of 15 at KSAM in Huntsville.
He also worked at KRBE and KKBQ in Houston while going to Sam Houston State University, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Radio Television Film.
When he’s not working, Jon enjoys working out, running, music, and spending time with two Labrador Retrievers. Jon is also on the Board of Directors of the Bryan College Station Chamber of Commerce.
