Dwayne Parsons

Dwayne Parsons is the Weekend Sports Anchor at KBTX. He started working at News 3 as a Sports Reporter/Photographer in December 1993.
Dwayne began his broadcasting career in 1977 at KAMU-TV. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 1981 with a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages.
Dwayne moved to Waco, Texas, where he served as the Weekend Sports Anchor, and later as the 10 p.m. Sports Anchor for KCEN-TV. He held that position until 1987, when he went to Tulsa, Oklahoma to serve as Sports Reporter and Weekend Sports Anchor for KOTV-TV.
Dwayne worked at KOTV until 1992, when he returned to Bryan/College Station, along with wife Gena, son Hayden, and daughter Emily.
