Tonight Following News 3 at 10, KBTX will stop airing regular programming on our analog transmitter so that antenna line may be installed for our new digital transmitter. If you have cable, satellite, or a digital television with an antenna, you should not be affected by this change. If you have questions, see our Digital TV Page, or call us – 979-846-7777.
Some in outlying areas with antennas on their digital televisions may have difficulty receiving KBTX during this transition. However, once the new one million watt transmitter goes on air in about 3-weeks, the KBTX coverage area expands to reach over 3.6 million people, double our current reach. You can still stay up to date with the regions most viewed source for news and information, KBTX.com. No. 1 On-Air, on-line, on your cell, on cable, on DirecTV, and soon in 51,000 more homes on Dish Network. Growing with the Brazos Valley. KBTX News 3.
