Texas A&M received a gift Friday from two Aggie classes in honor of many who have given their lives for their country.

The Freedom from Terrorism Memorial was designed by four A&M architecture students and was given to the school by the Classes of 1968 and 2003.

The memorial also includes a special thanks to the Aggies who are currently working to combat terrorist attacks.

The design of the massive monument includes a 22-foot concrete wall representing those who have died in service, and three rows of 12 box-like shapes representing those who still serve.

The memorial can be found at the corner of Coke and Lubbock streets on campus, near the Corps of Cadets' quad.
