The Aggie center for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) is holding its 6th annual summer camp for middle and high school students from May 31- June 5, June 14-27 and July 12-25. This is the inaguaral year for the Governor's STEM Camp-Aggie Academy for STEM Champions June 7-13. The STEM summer camp will give students real world experiences in STEM education through inquiry learning, improve SAT scores, and provide a world class university experience with Texas A&M University professors in STEM fields. Students will attend a variety of non-credit STEM classes by TAMU professors, graduate students, and staff such as Chemistry of Cosmetics, Safety Engineering, Construction Engineering, Circuit Design, Renewable Energy, Media Marketing, Advanced Mathematics, Code and Coding Theory, Statistics, Application Design, PSAT/SAT prep class, and a variety of social activities and local field trips. Students may choose from 3 different options, including the two different day-camp options or the residence hall stay option.

T STAR Space Camp

SEAD Academy is proud to bring T STAR Space Camp this summer. Students ages 10 to 14 will learn the basics of the Mission Control Center and how to be a Flight Controller (think “Houston” in Apollo 13) with Caroline Kostak, who was a Flight Controller at the Johnson Space Center for 12 years.

Held twice a year at the barrier free facilities of Camp For All in Burton, Texas, Camp LIFE provides recreation for children ages 5-21 with disabilities and their siblings while offering a weekend of respite for their parents.
