Date(s): 5/9/2015

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

College Station
PROPERTY OWNER AND LAND RIGHTS CONFERENCE
TEXAS EMINENT DOMAIN & CONDEMNATION

MAY 9, 2015 — COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS — The greater Bryan/College Station region is subject to numerous proposed infrastructure projects—new highways, high-speed rail, high-voltage-electric transmission lines, and high-pressure natural gas or oil pipelines—that will require the use of eminent-domain power.
You are invited to attend an educational seminar to discuss the rights of Texas property owners facing condemnation and eminent-domain proceedings. The U.S. and Texas Constitutions protect Texas property owners who are the subject of condemnation proceedings. Landowners have a constitutional right to recover for the loss in value to the property caused when the government takes land for infrastructure projects. Come listen, learn, and have your questions answered by our distinguished panelists.
