BRYAN, TX --- The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History is pleased to announce their annual Winter Mini Camp program, Wild Texas, on December 27, 30, 31 and January 2 and 3. Ever wonder how and what an ocelot hunts? What on earth does a Long Nose Bat eat? Do bears and wolves live in Texas? Your child will discover the answers to these questions and more as they have fun learning about the diversity and abundance of Texas wildlife.
Through fun-filled lessons and activities, your child will learn about the fascinating lives of animals native to the state of Texas! Studying science and history helps children to know and understand the world around them. The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History offers children this opportunity in a safe, fun, and educational setting. Through non-traditional teaching techniques, campers are encouraged to explore science, animal behavior, history, and their local environment using interactive lessons and educational games and crafts.
