Park at Stephen C. Beachy Central Park 1000 Krenek Tap Rd. College Station, TX 77845
By popular demand the City of College Station is saying goodbye to Christmas at the Creek and bringing back Christmas in the Park at Stephen C. Beachy Central Park. This fun-filled, family event will be Dec. 4 from 6-10 p.m., Dec. 5 from 12-9 p.m. and Dec. 6 from 6-10 p.m.

Daily activities will include a tour of the park on an old-fashioned hayride, free cookies and hot cocoa, and photos with Santa. On Saturday, Dec. 5 visitors can enjoy dance performances, inflatables, a petting zoo, real snow slide and a Holiday Vendor Village with a variety of arts, crafts, jewelry, candles and more. Guests may bring their own refreshments, but coolers must be 48 quarts or smaller. Alcohol, glass containers and pets are not allowed. Food vendors will be available.

The Lincoln Recreation Center will host its Annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday. Enjoy a free hot breakfast, hosted in collaboration with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Activities will include: face painting, arts/crafts, coloring activities, entertainment and more. All participants ages 15 and under will receive a gift from Santa.

The College Station Parks & Recreation Department’s 26th Annual Jingle Bell Fun Run is set for Sunday, Dec. 6 at 1:15 p.m. and will be followed by the B/CS Christmas Parade. This two-mile run starts at the corner of University Drive and South College Avenue and ends at the corner of Texas Avenue and Villa Maria.

Register today! Entry fee is $15 before Nov. 15 and $20 between Nov. 16 and 29. Race shirts are guaranteed to participants who register by Nov. 15. Dogs are welcome. The run will not be timed and a shuttle will be available to pick up participants at the end of the route to transport back to the start line.

Our Lady of Loudres Parish Festival

The St. Mary's Parish Festival will be on Sunday, October 18th at St. Mary in Caldwell. The festival will begin with Mass at 10:00 am. Afterward, join St. Mary's in the gym for a live and silent auction and games for the kids. The Knights of Columbus will be selling turkey and dressing plates and the Our Lady of Guadalupe Society will be providing Care Guisada Plates; you can choose fromeither plate option for $10 each. Proceeds from the St. Mary's Parish Festival will benefit the construction of the new gym for St. Mary.

Are your children hurt and confused about your separation or divorce? A Divorce Care for Kids (DC4K) group is a safe, fun place where your children can learn skills that will help them heal.

DC4K, a hands-on, kid-friendly, non-denominational, student support system for any children (ages 5–12) in the community who have experienced family divorce or separation. Limited seating of 12 students per season.

The Salvation Army Bryan provides a wide range of programs and services for children from infancy right through their teen years. This specific program is geared for children ages 7 to 18 to develop a sense of purpose in life and to learn to base their lives on Christian truths.
There will be fun, friends, food, and learning going on each Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm starting September 2 to October 28. We encourage parents to register their kids. Rides will be provided to those who call by any Wednesday before 12 pm.
