Toastmasters International- Open Invitation

Toastmasters International reaches 90 years of shaping lives College Station TX. November 3, 2014 —Toastmasters International marked their 90th anniversary in October 2014. In honor of the occasion, all local clubs extend an open invitation to the public to learn more about Toastmasters.



Since 1924, Toastmasters has been dedicated to helping people become better speakers and leaders.



Toastmasters clubs provide a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to overcome their fear of public speaking and sharpen presentation skills,” said Al Flores, Area L-40 Governor in District 56. “Other benefits include the opportunity to increase one’s confidence, build critical thinking skills and become an effective listener.”

College Station Rotary Roundup Tailgate Party

The Rotary Club of College Station is pleased to announce the forthcoming "Rotary Roundup Tailgate in the Park" event on October 19, 2012 at the Veterans Park Pavilion in College Station. This second such event is set the evening prior to the LSU game at Kyle Field (on October 20). Our first Tailgate was to celebrate Texas A&M's game against the University of Florida as the first Aggie game in the SEC. We will begin at 5:30 PM and last until everyone goes home. Free hot dogs and soft drinks will be available and adult beverages will be available for purchase.
