� the History and Future of Rose Breeding at Texas A&M Dr. Byrne�s talk will cover the history and current research of the rose breeding program at Texas A&M University starting with Dr. Robert Basye's contribution and including the recent donation of the Ralph Moore varieties with the steps in breeding a rose. The quest to give gardeners just what they want has a rosy future at Texas A&M.

Demonstration Garden Planting

Come out and beautify College Station! Keep Brazos Beautiful will be working in their demonstration garden located at the corner of Texas Ave and George Bush on April 6th. Shifts will run from 9am-11am and 11am-1pm. Volunteers are needed to assist in bed maintenance, planting flowers and shrubs and cleaning up litter. All volunteers will need to wear closed toe shoes and weather appropriate clothing. Please contact our office at (979)775-3569 for more information!
