Messiah's Ranch Christian Camp is holding a work day Saturday, March 17 to ready the camp for the summer. We will be working on the grounds, cleaning buildings, doing minor fence repair, planting for beautification. A hamburger lunch will be provided, but we must know of your intent to come out. Call by 5 pm Thursday the 15th. Groups or individuals need to call John Hyde at 777-6618 to make a reservation. Work begins at 9 am and concludes at 5 pm, but you are not required to work all day. Just enough to "earn" your lunch!

Foster Care & Adoption Orientation and Informational meeting

There is a desperate need for foster and adoptive parents in Texas as the number of children waiting for safe, stable and loving homes continues to grow. Lutheran Social Services will provide information, training and support for those families interested in providing a loving, safe and secure home for children that have been removed from their homes due to some form of abuse neglect or abandonment. We will be holding an Orientation/Informational meeting for those interested in making a difference in the life of a child.

Your local Meals on Wheels needs your help. Commit your company to give as little as 2 hours per week between 10am-12pm, for six months in 2010. By making your donation of time or money, you will help provide the next meal for a senior in need.
