Boutique is made of up Aggie Mom Clubs from Texas to Louisiana selling everything imaginable in maroon and white. Sale items include clothes, jewelry, quilts, collage photo mats, ornaments, rustic bird houses, iron works, glassware, stepping stone, flower pots, art work, and many other types of Texas A&M merchandise. Boutique also includes raffles with tailgate packages, furniture, quilts, a car, and many other items with an Aggie theme.

All proceeds benefit student scholarships, financial aid for books, and donations to student organizations at Texas A&M University.

Proceeds from the sale are used to fund the community education programs of the Brazos County Master Gardeners, a non-profit association of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension volunteers.

Plants offered at the sale focus on:
• heat and drought tolerant perennials suitable for Brazos County weather and climate
• herbs and recommended vegetable varieties for this area
• pass-along plants from Master Gardeners private collections
• bulbs selected for Brazos County growing conditions

Plant Preview: 8 a.m.
• Opportunity to walk through sale area to view plant offerings
• Master Gardeners available to answer questions and assist with plant selections


Absolutely no sales before 9 a.m. April 6, 2013.

Master Gardeners will be available during the sale to answer your plant and gardening questions. Come early, Join the fun, and bring your wagon!

The Junior League of Bryan-College Station, Inc. is pleased to announce its annual Bargain Blitz fundraiser at The Brazos Center in Bryan on Saturday, March 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission is $1.00 all day Saturday, children 12 and under are free.

Bargain Blitz is an annual rummage sale of new and gently used items. Pieces will include gently used formal wear, adult and children’s clothing, home furnishings, appliances and more. All items are donated by members of The Junior League, local businesses and community supporters.

On Friday, March 1, The Junior League will host a Preview Sale from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at The Brazos Center. Admission to the Preview Sale is $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 12 and under. Admission includes a pizza dinner. During the Preview Sale prices are doubled.

All proceeds from the Bargain Blitz benefit the work and mission of The Junior League of Bryan-College Station to support the children and youth of the community.

Warehouse Sale-Texas A&M University Press

Texas A&M University Press -- along with other university presses throughout the country -- will celebrate University Press Week next week, Nov. 11-17.

In conjunction with this celebration, Texas A&M University Press will hold a book sale, offering hundreds of slightly damaged books for as little as $2 to $3 and other books 25-90 percent off.

The sale will be held Wednesday and Thursday in the university press offices, located in the John H. Lindsey Building on the Texas A&M campus, Lewis St., one block north of George Bush Drive. Parking is available.

Patrons who Tweet or post about the sale on Facebook can show their mention on their cell phone to receive a copy of the book Reveille: First Lady of Texas A&M.
