Families of Autistic Children Engaged Together for Suppport (FACETS) will host their monthly meeting. We will be discussing the benefits of animal therapy and hippotherapy (horse therapy.) We'll have several therapy animal visiting with the children while the adults listen to speakers representing Aggieland Pets With a Purpose and the Gallop Foundation. Childcare is available if you RSVP by Oct. 5th.

A support group comprised of family members of patients with Azheimer's Dementia. Occasionally speakers are present to provide education for families and loved ones but the majority of our meetings are families supporting families.
3rd Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM.
Darkness to Light

Scotty’s House Child Advocacy Center will host the Darkness to Light program at its facility, located at 2424 Kent Street in Bryan.
The program is free and open to any concerned citizen, but registration is required.
Darkness to Light is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce the incidents of child sexual abuse by shifting the responsibility from children to adults. This is accomplished through an award winning media campaign which raises public awareness and directs adults to educational tools that will educate them on how to prevent, recognize and respond to sexual child abuse and motivate them to courageous action.
