Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn more or an accomplished jewelry artist we invite you to join us for the Brazos Valley Jewelry Artist Guild (BVJAG) Monthly Meeting.

6:00 – 8:00 pm

Margie Mason will teach us how to create a wire-wrapped ring. The ring is adjustable so it will fit any finger. Tool List to bring if you have them: Flat nose pliers, Chain nose pliers, Wire or Flush Cutter, Sharpie marking pen, Steel ruler, Steel Ring mandrel and a rawhide hammer. Also, if you want to twist the wires on one side then a pin vise will be required.

Free Class - Computer Basics

Learn the basics of using a computer in this free computer class offered courtesy of Technology For All, part of the Texas Connects Coalition, through the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) grant. Class size limited. This class is held in the upstairs computer lab. No reservations necessary.

All ages; decorate a real or artificial pumpkin that will fit on a 9" deep shelf; pumpkin can not be cut or carved; before decorating real pumpkins, clean with a mild bleach/water solution and let dry (to help retard mold growth); individuals, families, teams, and classes may enter; register your pumpkin at the children's desk; pick up pumpkins and awards October 26 - November 2
