NaNoWriMo write-in

Nov 7, 2012 6 - 9 PM

Larry J. Ringer Library, 1818 Harvey Mitchell Pkwy. S., College Station, TX 77845
People who are participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) will meet to work on their novels. Most write-ins will be on Wednesdays and Sundays, and there are also some on the A&M campus on Tuesdays. Free wi-fi is available at the library. Bring your laptop or bring pen and paper. More information about write-ins can be found at the Bryan+College Station NaNoWriMo regional forum. All ages are welcome to participate in NaNoWriMo. (See the NaNoWriMo Young Writer's Program if you are under 13 or if you are 13 to 17 and would prefer to set your own writing goal).

The regular write-ins are welcome to all participants, ages 13 and up. At least one of the two ML's (municipal liaisons) will be on hand for all events. Most of the regulars are adults (largely college-aged) and a few teens, and the group is good about policing themselves when younger people are around. If you have concerns, talk with Summer or Ted (the ML's) at the beginning of a write-in, or contact them at the NaNoWriMo regional forum or on the BCS WriMos Facebook page.

The write-in will be in the front meeting room unless voting booths are still here; if voting booths are in the front, the writing group will meet at the back of the library.

Information and links to pages mentioned can be found at (the library's NaNoWriMo page)
