Not unlike early death rock and neo-folkore sound, Ancient VVisdom incorporates electric guitar effects, synth sounds, vocal harmonies and abstract percussion to create a deeper, ethereal quality to their minimalist arranagements. Nathan’s powerfully honest voice is complimented by lyrics ranging from mysteries of the occult, paganism, satanic philosophy, and forbidden knowledge.

Ruthie Foster with guest Carrie Rodriguez beginning her career in the choir lofts of Brazos Valley churches, Ruthie Foster is known for her unique blend of Southern blues, rock, gospel redemption, country poetry and jazz elegance. Her latest album "Let it Burn" was nominated for a Grammy for Best Blues Album.

Admission is free, gates open at 6 p.m. and the concerts begin at 7. Guests may bring their own refreshments, but glass containers are not allowed. Coolers must be 48 quarts or smaller. Refreshments and souvenir shirts will be on sale, and an ATM will be located on site. Parking is available at Post Oak Mall, and handicap parking will be off Colgate Drive.

The night begins with a fun complimentary salsa lesson at 10pm, no partner or experience necessary. Guests learn all of the basic steps in a jovial atmosphere, with an energetic instructor notorius for making you laugh while learning at the same time. Following the lesson, the dance floor opens for a hot night of dancing to salsa, bachata, and merengue.
