LOS ANGELES (AP) - Sean "Diddy" Combs says a sheriff's deputy pulled out a gun during a traffic stop with his entourage, but Diddy still has nice things to say about the incident. Diddy was traveling in Los Angeles in a seven-car convoy when the deputy pulled over one vehicle for an expired registration tag. Diddy was not in that car. Los Angeles sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says the deputy became concerned when several men approached the vehicle, so he briefly drew his weapon. The situation quickly cooled down. Diddy's spokesman says the deputy never pointed the gun at Diddy and the deputy was professional and respectful. He let them off. No citations were issued because the car was a rental.
