LOS ANGELES (AP) - Mackenzie Phillips is back in "one day at a time" mode. That's the mantra of the 12-Step program. She's back in rehab. At the same time, she's been charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance: heroin and cocaine. She faces a misdemeanor count of unauthorized possession of a needle or syringe. Phillips was arrested last week at Los Angeles International Airport after failing a security screening. She'd been trying to catch a flight to New York. Authorities say a secondary search turned up needles and suspected drugs. Phillips' attorney told the judge that Phillips has entered rehab. She's out on $20,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned October 3. Mackenzie Phillips was fired in 1982 from her sitcom, "One Day at a Time," for drug-related reasons.
