RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - The creator of "One Tree Hill" hopes the CW will decide by the first of the year whether to bring the series back for a seventh season. Mark Schwahn says the first of the year is when he starts filming the last four or five episodes of the current season. He says the CW doesn't owe him advance notice, but he feels "like they owe it to the fans." That way, he can bring the show to a close in the last few episodes. It sounds like it's also up to the actors, as well as the network. Their contacts all run out at the end of this sixth season. A couple of months ago, they were divided about doing another season.
