MALIBU, Calif. (AP) - Ryan O'Neal and his son with Farrah Fawcett, Redmond, have been charged with felony possession of methamphetamine. Redmond O'Neal, who's 23, also faces misdemeanor charges for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of pepper spray. Father and son are scheduled to be arraigned November 13. They were arrested last month after deputies searched their Malibu home. The sweep was part of Redmond's probation from an earlier drug case. Deputies say drugs were found on Redmond and in Ryan O'Neal's living area. Ryan O'Neal's lawyer says he'll vigorously fight the charge because "Ryan O'Neal didn't possess methamphetamine, doesn't use methamphetamine and it wasn't his methamphetamine. He never should have been prosecuted for this."
