LOS ANGELES (AP) - Michael Jackson was notoriously protective of his children, often having them wear masks and veils when they ventured outside. But Tuesday's public memorial service for their dad represented their first true coming-out. Jackson's 11-year-old daughter Paris-Michael Katherine spoke publicly for the first time. She tearfully told the audience "I just wanted to say, that ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. I just wanted to say I love him so much." All three of Jackson's children appeared on stage as the memorial service came to a close. The two boys each wore the same dark suit and yellow tie as the rest of the men in the Jackson family. Prince chewed gum and toted the memorial service program on stage. Blanket held his program and clutched a Michael Jackson doll. Paris-Michael wore a black dress with white trim and carried a small patent-leather purse.

This was heart wrenching. She seems like such a sweetheart. Prayers to her and her brothers.
