HOLLYWOOD (November 26, 2009)-George Lopez, thankful? ¡Absolutamente! Lopez said he is thankful for his health.

It has been four and a half years since his wife donated a kidney to him and that is the number-one thing for which he is thankful.

While health is important to Lopez this Thanksgiving, it came down to family for Ray Romano, and his four kids.

Romano said his teenagers are starting college now and he is thankful "everybody's going down a good path." Romano says "that's all you really need."

Mekhi Phifer, as well, turns to those closest to him when he says "thanks."

Phifer says he is "thankful for a healthy family" including "two beautiful sons." While he was at it, Phifer said he is "just thankful to be here."

Don Cheadle is "nothing but thankful everyday," he said, so he doesn't save his thanks for Thanksgiving.

Cheadle said "when you are fortunate enough to be in a position" he is in and to have the opportunities he's had, "it's important to give back and try to spread that around."

Many actresses spend everyday counting their calories. Dana Delany may, or may not, be one of them but, for her, some of the calories don't count on Thanksgiving.

Delany said the one thing she looks forward to the most is pumpkin pie, noting she has "such a sweet tooth."

Pumpkin pie is her favorite thing and she allows herself to have it on Thanksgiving.

Speaking of food on Thanksgiving, Cedric the Entertainer said he's "been trying to cut down" but he's "a cornbread person," meaning cornbread stuffing for him at Thanksgiving.

But that is not the only high-calorie food Cedric is into at the holiday. He said he likes his macaroni and cheese.

Gwyneth Paltrow said her mom, Blythe Danner, traditionally serves turkey and "about 16 vegetables."

Danner said they're "just the squarest American family" because they have to have turkey. She does it, Danner said, because he mother did it and her grandmother did it, "it's tradition."

Daryl Hannah is a fan of turkeys, but in the less traditional sense: she does not eat the turkeys, rather she rescues them.

Hannah says for Thanksgiving she always goes to an event called "Adopt a Turkey Day," held by Animal Acres and Farm Sanctuary, two farm animal rescue organizations.

Finola Hughes of "General Hospital" says Thanksgiving is not a holiday they celebrate in her native home in England.

Now that she celebrates Thanksgiving in the U.S., Hughes says she's fallen in love with yams and sweet potatoes.
