Q: Will The CW only be on the Suddenlink Cable system?

No – we will have carriage on the cable systems in Hearne, Caldwell, Madisonville, Franklin and other surrounding areas. We are working daily on adding other cable systems.

Q: I live on campus at Texas A&M, can I watch The CW?

If you are on the Texas A&M Campus, you can watch The CW on channel 8 and KBTX News 3 on channel 2.

Q: What is The CW? I’m not familiar with it.

The CW is a merger between UPN and The WB. Hot shows from each are available on The CW and skews toward a younger and college-aged crowd. Some of the popular shows include “America’s Next Top Model” with Tyra Banks and Chris Rock’s comedy “Everybody Hates Chris”. New shows include “Gossip Girl”, “Vampire Diaries”, and “One Tree Hill”. We will also run Oprah at 9pm every night, so if you miss it on KBTX at 4pm, you can see it that night at 9.

Q: What other kinds of shows will you have?

Family Feud, America’s Funniest Videos, Meet the Browns, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, Family Guy, Seinfeld, TMZ, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader, and  a lot of lifestyle programming, home, garden, and travel on the weekends. See the complete schedule at mycwtexas.com.

Q: Will there be news on The CW?

The Daily Buzz airs 5-8am on weekdays. We do not have any plans to have a local newscast on The CW, at this time. We will, however,  have weather updates during severe weather situations.
