An accident on Highway 6 at University Drive in College Station has traffic at a standstill. Police say traffic is being diverted off of Highway 6 on the Northbound side starting at Harvey Road and off of the Southbound side starting at the University Drive exit. This detour is expected to last for at least an hour, but it could be longer.

The only College Football Pre-game Show in the State of Texas to receive a Back-to-Back National Telly Award for Excellence in Broadcasting continues coverage of Texas A&M football again this Saturday, November 11th, on KBTX News 3. The Fightin’ Texas Aggies will play the University of Nebraska in a 2:30 p.m. game.

The hour long live television pre-game show is presented by College Station Medical Center and once again airs from Kyle Field at the KBTX Broadcast Center in the heart of the Aggie Fan Zone.

The show is anchored by the award-winning News-3 Sports Team: Darryl Bruffett, Dwayne Parsons, John Wilson, and Consolidated High School and Aggie Standout, former Cincinnati Bengal and Indianapolis Colt, Clif Groce. Halie Richardson is now part of the Aggie Gameday team with fan interviews and features.

Once again this year, the show is full of player features and segments like the “Opening Drive” featuring the game’s key match-ups and a game overview. “In the Zone” features a high profile personality or events involving Aggie Athletics, and the “Two Minute Warning,” an on-set “point/counterpoint” with an Aggie fan and a Nebraska fan.

The collectible, all-new 2006 version of the “Howdy Button” is available at the KBTX Broadcast Center.
