Navasota's Advanced Placement U.S. History Class has several reasons to be smiling. First, they were honored by a visit of Navasota's own Jacob Pimentel, after being wounded in Iraq and receiving a Purple Heart. While learning modern history from him, the class did a fantastic job of gathering local history through research and interviews, adding to our library's wealth of Grimes County history - all for future reference. Both Jacob and the students of the AP History class are fine representatives of the quality students Navasota High School produces.
