The Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce is yet again sending a delegation to Washington, DC to meet with senators, representatives and their staffs. The goal: to push the agenda of the Twin Cities and solicit support for the things that matter to the region.

Once again, News 3 is the only media organization along for the trip. Steve Fullhart will be reporting from the nation's capital for the duration. Catch his reports during each newscast throughout the week of the trip, along with exclusive KBTX.com content.

9 Run 6th Inning Does In Vikings In Playoff Opener

Last Updated: 11:06 PM 05/15/08 - The Bryan Vikings scored a pair of runs in the 6th inning Thursday night to take a 6-4 lead over Cedar Park, only problem is they gave up 9 runs in the home half of the 6th and lost 11-6.

7th Ranked Aggies To Close Regular Season with State Farm Lone Star Showdown

Last Updated: 9:55 PM 05/15/08 - The 7th-ranked Texas A&M baseball team closes out the regular season this weekend with the annual split-site series against rival Texas in the State Farm Lone Star Showdown. First pitch on Friday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field in Austin is set for 6:05 p.m. The series then shifts to Olsen Field in College Station, and will resume Saturday at 6:30 p.m. The finale is set for Sunday at 1 p.m.

Softball Begins NCAA Tournament Play Against SFA

Last Updated: 10:52 PM 05/15/08 - After capturing its first ever Big 12 Championship tournament title last weekend in Oklahoma City, the fifth-ranked Texas A&M softball team is looking to make a return trip, this time for the NCAA Women’s College World Series. The Aggies, who are set to host the College Station Regional, kickoff postseason play on Friday against the Ladyjacks of Stephen F. Austin. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m. at the Aggie Softball Complex.
