Travis Hester struck out ten as College Station beat Rudder 6-1 Saturday afternoon in a battle of 18-5A unbeatens.
Cooler temperatures and lower humidity greeted us on Saturday, with highs in the 70s. Soak up that sunshine while you can, because moisture will be on the rise again tomorrow through the middle of this upcoming week. Tonight, expect skies to be clear initially before winds veer out of the southeast overnight bringing Gulf moisture back into the picture. That will in turn bring the clouds back into the Brazos Valley for your Sunday, especially in the morning. We should manage to break up those clouds and salvage the afternoon with a 50/50 mix of sun and clouds. Temps will be a bit warmer with mid 80s expected. The warm trend continues into the start of the last week of March before our next chance at rain arrives on Wednesday and Thursday. Details will be honed in on over the next couple of days.
