The last few days of June will be a bet on the rainy side as a stalled front remains situated over the Brazos Valley. The main concern will be heavy rain, with flash flooding a possibility if any storms remain over a certain location for too long. The severe threat is very low and we're really just concerned about those heavy downpours and the flooding that could come with them. Monday and Tuesday look like the best days with a chance at rain this week followed by steadily increasing temperatures and a stronger southerly breeze by the final days of June. As the calendar turns to July, expect the heat to get going again as temperatures top out in the mid 90s.
We'll be watching for an area or two of storms tonight, but a better chance of rainfall comes tomorrow and next week.
