Saturday Night Weather Update 12/10

December has gotten off to a bit of a colder start for the Brazos Valley, and many are hoping for a nice little warm-up for the next few days. Well, good news: those hopes are being answered as temperatures climb into the the 60s and lower 70s through the middle of this upcoming week. That all gets started tonight. We'll actually be warming through most of the night, and consequently, our low will be reached sometime around midnight. We'll climb from the upper 40s / lower 50s to the upper 50s / lower 60s by sunrise on Sunday. Some spotty showers are possible most of Sunday with that chance being the best before lunchtime. Beyond Sunday, look for a rather mild and pleasant December pattern, with highs in the 60s and lows generally in the 50s. There are some signs of big changes Thursday and again next Sunday, with Sunday looking like the stronger of the two cold fronts. As it stands right now, there is a GREAT DEAL of uncertainty when it comes to the midweek cold front Wednesday / Thursday. Be sure to keep a close watch on the PinPoint forecast throughout the week as changes are likely and numbers will need to be tweaked.
