Wednesday Midday Weather Update 1/18

Another rainy and damp day for your Wednesday. We have picked up a couple inches of rainfall already this week so be careful out on the roads for any minor flooding. We are still watching a potent system move through the area today, which will give us a chance for thunderstorms through at least the lunch time hour. Keep the rain gear with you into this evening, and though we may wake with a few showers on Thursday, sunshine will quickly usher itself into the Brazos Valley before midday. We'll keep that around through the end of the week, rising into the 70s both Thursday and Friday. An isolated shower will be possible Friday afternoon, but a slightly better chance of rain will come as we go into Saturday afternoon and evening with the passage of another cold front. That will knock us back down into the low 60s for highs Sunday, but at this point, the big story looks to be the wind. Stay tuned.
