EDMOND, Okla. (AP) The U.S. Geological Survey has recorded two small earthquakes between Edmond and Guthrie in central Oklahoma.

No injuries or damage were reported as a result of Sunday's quakes.

The U.S.G.S. recorded a magnitude 4.0 quake at 12:07 p.m. Sunday about eight miles north of Edmond and a 3.7 magnitude tremor in the same area at 1:31 p.m. The area is about 20 miles north of Oklahoma City.

Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest that are felt by humans and that damage is not likely in earthquakes below magnitude 4.0.
