Before temperatures continue to climb into the 80s, and eventually the 90s, let us look back at the Winter of 2006-07, which proved to certainly be a cold one!

Winter '06-'07:
First Freeze: Dec. 1, 2006 (27 degrees)
Last Freeze: March 5, 2007 (32 degrees)
Total 32 degree days (or below): 18
Total 29 degree days (or below): 9
Avg. High Temperature (Dec - Feb): 60 degrees
Avg. Low Temperature (Dec - Feb): 43 degrees
Coldest Day of Season: Feb. 16, 2007 (21 degrees)

Winter '05-'06:
First Freeze: Dec. 5, 2005 (32 degrees)
Last Freeze: March 24, 2006 (31 degrees)
Total 32 degree days (or below): 13 days
Total 29 degree days (or below): 5 days
Avg. High Temperature (Dec - Feb): 66 degrees
Avg. Low Temperature (Dec - Feb): 42 degrees
Coldest Day of Season: Dec. 8, 2005 (24 degrees)
