The strong storms have started to dissipate across the Brazos Valley. As they exit the area they are leaving behind some brief high winds associated with the dying storms. Don't be surprised if the winds gust near 35 mph, this is very typical for this type of situation. This storm dropped anywhere from .27 inches at Easterwood to near 6 inches in Centerville. Not only did we get a nice amount of rain out of this system but our temperatures dropped into the lower 70's on an afternoon in June...can't complain about that.
