ATLANTA (AP) Schools are closed in Atlanta again today thanks to lingering aftereffects of Tuesday's winter storm that trapped thousands of vehicles on glazed roads and left students stranded at school.
Officials say the major goal is to remove remaining abandoned vehicles from roadways.
State employees have been told to report to work.
Temperatures in the region are expected to reach the low 50s today, which should help responders clear ice accumulations from roads.
