The Oklahoma National Guard is releasing photos and a video documentary of its involvement in the search, rescue and recovery efforts after the deadly May 20 tornado.

The Guard's public affair's office released both an electronic book of photographs and a companion video documentary on Thursday. Both are available for free at www.oklahomafrontline.com/dayofdays .

The 23-minute video documents the involvement of Oklahoma National Guard soldiers and airmen and includes interviews from state and local officials, volunteers and first responders. Many of the 80 photographs being released have never before been seen by the general public.

Maj. Gen. Myles Deering, the adjutant general for the Oklahoma Guard, calls the documentary a "tribute to all those who gave so much to help the victims of the tornado and their families."
