A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Lee County until 7pm Sunday, Milam, Robertson, Leon Counties until 12am Monday and Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery,San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Washington Counties until 12am Tuesday. Widespread 2" to 4" rain accumulations are possible through Monday, with localized 8" to 11" possible.
We all knew those 80° temperatures wouldn't last.
A strong, Arctic cold front is scheduled to arrive in the Brazos Valley Thursday morning. Temperatures are expected to take a nose dive and struggle to even reach the mid 30s for much of the weekend.
