Wednesday Night Weather Blog (7/23): Chance for Rain and Thunderstorms Overnight

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms continues to move southwest out of the Arklatex / Tyler area this evening.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in place for Leon & Houston Counties, until 12am Thursday.

The latest from the PinPoint Computer Forecast Model has this line falling apart as it reaches our Northeastern Counties, then redeveloping overnight as that boundary helps spark up new shower and thunderstorm activity.

We'll continue to monitor the radar as we head into the overnight hours. You can do the same by using Interactive PinPoint Radar.
