State Incident Management Teams Stationed in College Station

Five Lone Star State Type III Incident Management Teams are stationed in College Station.

The teams have been requested by the Governor's Division of Emergency management. The Type III teams will leave Thursday for the Alamo Regional Command Center in San Antonio.

The Lone Star State IMT is supported by the Texas Forest Service. These teams support impacted communities by managing security and continuity of government issues, assessment of critical infrastructure and restoration of essential services following a catastrophic incident.

The teams are currently stationed at the Emergency Operations Training Center at TEEX.
