The Community Emergency Operations Center has set up a new hotline number for local shelter information.
If you need assistance you are asked to call 979-458-8750. There are Spanish speakers available to answer questions.
If you are a Bryan-College Station resident needing a place to stay during the storm, officials say Stephen F. Austin Middle School, Bonham Elementary, Anson Jones and College Station Middle School are being used as shelters.
You're asked to bring your own bedding, supplies and medicine. Pets are not allowed in the shelters, and an evening meal will not be served.
If you are in Navasota call 936-825-2241.
