Houston Airports Reopen

HOUSTON -- Houston's airports are planning to reopen to commercial flights Monday with limited service after suffering some damage from Hurricane Ike.

Flights stopped coming and going at George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Hobby Airport late Friday, a day before the storm slammed into the Texas coast.

Passengers are being urged to check with their airlines before going to the airport to ensure their flights are scheduled and to arrive at least two hours early.

Authorities said Sunday they did not yet have an estimate of the damage to the airports.

The rental car facility has no electricity and customers can't go inside, but drivers can return cars to a garage.
