BRYAN -- With schools still dealing with power outages across the Brazos Valley due to Hurricane Ike, there are already a couple of schools that have canceled their games for this week, while a few have rearranged their schedules to either take advantage of the sun, or changed locations.

The Navasota Rattler football team has canceled its game with Bellville this week. Head Coach Lee Fedora said he hates to cancel games,
but without any way to get all of his players at practice he really had no choice.

Fedora is interested in filling his open date on October 3rd and would appreciate any coach who's looking to play a game on the 3rd, to give him a call.

Madisonville is in the same boat as the Rattlers, they've already canceled their game with Crockett on Friday

Burton and Normangee have also made arrangements to play on Friday, but not in Normangee. The all Panther tilt will take place at 7:30 at Tigerland Stadium in College Station.
