VIDEO: Sunday Evening Weather Blog (8/31): Labor Day & Beyond

The Brazos Valley wrapped up the month of August with scattered, passing areas of downpours. Rain coverage won't be as high on Labor Day -- but a few showers can't be ruled out.

A disturbance crossing over the Yucatan Peninsula -- as of Sunday evening -- and into the Southern Gulf of Mexico / Bay of Campeche has a 60% chance of tropical development over the next 5 days.

Regardless of if this becomes a depression or the next named storm of the 2014 Atlantic Hurricane Season, this system will keep the chance of passing heavy downpours this week, in the Brazos Valley. Some days will have a better chance than others -- all the latest details are up in your Sunday Evening Weather Video Blog...
