Severe Weather Moves East -- Cold Front On The Way
Early morning severe weather has moved east of the Brazos Valley, taking the damaging wind and tornado threat out of the area as well. While the severe weather threat has passed, we'll need to monitor areas of minor flooding and down tree limbs on area roads.
Another round of strong to severe storms is possible throughout the afternoon and evening on Monday before the next cold front moves in Tuesday morning, cutting off all rain chances and bringing cooler air to the area.
Monday: Cloudy with a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some could be strong to severe. High: 81. Wind: E 5-10 mph.
Monday Night: Mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low: 60. Wind: NE 5-10 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of morning showers. Partly cloudy by afternoon. High: 70. Wind: N 10-20 mph.
