FLASH FLOOD WATCH in Place This Memorial Day Weekend

Rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms are currently moving through the Brazos Valley. Storms will have the capability of turning severe, bringing heavy rain, frequent lightning and winds exceeding 50 mph, which will be the main concern. In addition to strong thunderstorms, a brief, isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

Rain looks to continue throughout Sunday and into Monday. The rain will likely be more widespread on Monday. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for the entire Brazos Valley until midnight Tuesday, so keep the umbrella on hand and stay dry!

Saturday Night: Cloudy with a 90% chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Some strong to severe. Low: 70. Wind: SE 5-15 mph.

Sunday: Cloudy with a 90% chance of rain and thunderstorms. Some strong to severe. High: 77. Wind: SE 5-15 mph.

Sunday Night: Cloudy with a 50% chance of rain and thunderstorms. Low: 71. Wind: SE 5-15 mph.

Monday: Cloudy with a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms. High: 81. Wind: SE 10-20 mph.
