48-Hour Forecast for Bryan/College Station

Rain Chances Increase Flooding Concerns Memorial Day Weekend

Scattered shower chances continue to stick around with us today witha a few thunderstorms possible through the day -- best chance by mid-afternoon into the evening. Temperatures are also expected to remain on the unseasonably cool side, but we'll at least aim for 80° this afternoon.

Saturday brings another chance at scattered rain and thunderstorms. As an upper-level low approaches & swings across Texas, widespread flooding rainfall will be a major concern for Sunday / Monday. Widespread 1" to 4" will be possible, with localized higher totals expected. Saturated grounds & recent flooding will not be able to handle additional heavy, slow moving rain well. Something to keep a close eye on for Memorial Day plans...
