Last week's game against Lamar brought a two hour weather delay just before kickoff. While changes are in the forecast for Aggieland ahead of the weekend -- we'll look for inclement weather to be out of the way for GameDay.
Midnight Yell Due to thunderstorms with frequent lightning, Midnight Yell has officially been CANCELLED.
Tailgating With our cold front through the Brazos Valley and a moist air mass overhead, a chance for scattered showers will continue into Saturday morning. All indications are that our rain should end by the noon hour, and a peek of sunshine is possible by the afternoon. That would lead to temperatures in the upper 70s to just about 80° to wrap up the afternoon. If the sunshine can break free from the clouds a bit more, afternoon highs may be a few degrees warmer, in the low 80s.
Kickoff: A late kickoff at Kyle Field, as the Ags take the field after sunset. Temperatures are expected in the mid 70s at the start of the game. We'll look for a northeast breeze at 5-15mph. Can't rule out a stray shower or storm south of the area, but for now it looks rain free inside Kyle.
4th Quarter: A few folks may want to bring a light jacket to the game -- especially in the upper decks -- if you catch cold easy. For early football season in Texas, this will be a treat -- the thermometer is expected in the low 70s by the start of the 4th.
Enjoy the game and Gig 'em Aggies!
