Warmer weather sticks around ahead of a midweek cold front
It’ll be a chilly start Monday as morning lows dip into the low 40s with a few areas of patchy fog possible. With high pressure in control, more sunshine is in store Monday and Tuesday afternoon with daytime highs reaching about 10 degrees above average!
Changes arrive midweek as our next cold front moves through the state. Ahead of the front’s arrival, we’ll see a southerly breeze return to the Brazos Valley that will help a bit of moisture pump back in. This moisture return will help spark showers and the potential for a few thunderstorms Wednesday (~50%) as the front pushes through the area. We’ll cool things off and clear things out for the back half of the week before we monitor another storm system by next weekend.
