A cold front will push through the Brazos Valley this afternoon, which may bring in a few high clouds throughout the day. Other than that, the bigger story with this front is the WIND that comes along with it. For today, some gusts to 25-30 mph or so are possible, but Friday looks to be even more windy.

More sun but also more wind Friday. Northwest wind blows 10-20mph, and huffs 30-35mph at times. Thanks to said north wind, highs will likely be a good 5-10 degrees cooler, but enough sun should have it bearable by the late afternoon. Wind calms as we approach sunset, leading to a clear, chilly, pleasant winter start to your weekend. The calm wind and clear sky leads to a near or just below freezing temp Saturday morning, but another beautiful afternoon awaits with sunshine and highs in the mid/upper 50s. Weekend now looks dry, but after the holiday, things look to turn soggy once again.

Thursday: Mostly sunny. High: 65. Wind: SW becoming NW 10-15 mph, gusting 25-30 mph after 1pm.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear. Low: 35. Wind: NNW 5-10 mph

Friday: Sunny. High: 55. Wind: NW 10-20 mph, G. 30-35 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear. Low: 39. Wind: SSW 5-10 mph.
