BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Some area high school students are giving back during their spring break.

Students and staff with Rudder High School’s Volleyball team spent much of their day doing yard work at KEOS FM community radio.

The group was power-washing a satellite dish, putting out multiple bags of mulch and planting flowers. Volunteers said it feels good to give back during their time off.

”Well we just love helping out people. We’re always reaching out to people asking if they need help. Just want to be there if anyone needs a hand or something. We just like to help a lot,” said Neeley Rutledge, a Rudder High School student.

KEOS 89.1 FM is celebrating 26 years of community broadcasting, next week on March 25.
